The 7,000-square-foot Fader Innovation Center, which opened in 2018, was designed with flexibility in mind. It houses McDonogh’s robotics and engineering programs as well as an auto bay where students can directly experience the fundamentals of physics, math, and chemistry by working on cars. It is a place where LifeReady experiences unfold each and every day—a place where students communicate with one another about projects, solve problems alone or in groups, and think in terms of the greater good. Students welcome the challenge to try different ideas, and they feel comfortable going back to the drawing board until they land on a workable solution to a problem.
